On the second Saturday of every month, the Friends welcomes the public to visit its book sale held in the Library's lower level. Over 50,000 items including books, DVDs, CDs, puzzles, and audiobooks are for sale. Children's and teen's books are 50 cents. Most other books/DVDs/CDs are $1 excluding the Premium Section. Cash, checks, and credit cards are accepted; dealers are welcome.

Members of the Friends are invited to a members-only preview sale. Memberships can be purchased at the door and are immediately valid for entry to the preview sale.

Ron's Book Nook, located in the main Library adjacent to the Customer Service Desk, is stocked by the Friends from donated books and is open for purchases during Library hours.

If you're looking for some harder-to-find and rare items, please visit the Friends eBay page and peruse the offerings from donated books.

Friends' donation events are held on the first and third Saturdays of every month. Bring your gently used books, DVDs, CDs, vinyl records, puzzles, and audiobooks to the main entrance of the Library where Friends volunteers will be on hand to help. Please pack your donations in paper or plastic bags or small boxes that can be easily lifted by Friends volunteers. Donations are tax-deductible and receipts are available on request.

The Friends CANNOT accept the following items:

• Video and cassette tapes
• Reader’s Digest condensed books
• Encyclopedias
• Medical and Travel books over five years old
• Textbooks or computer books
• Items with mildew, mold, etc.
  

When you become a member of the Friends, you help support Library programs and will have exclusive access to Thursday evening Members-Only Preview Sales. Memberships are tax-deductible.
